The Southern New Jersey Light Rail Transit System
provides light rail transit service from Trenton to Camden
along the Delaware River. The line runs roughly parallel to Route 130.
Advanced, articulated diesel light rail vehicles travel along an
augmented freight right of way. Light rail operates from 6a.m. to
10p.m., seven days a week and freight operates between 10p.m. and
6a.m., six days a week.

The line includes numerous park-n-ride facilities and serves Rutgers University, the Waterfront Entertainment Center and
the State
Aquarium.
